Decathlon Stockholder portal

Challenge.

Decathlon wanted to create a portal for its employees who are also shareholders in the company. This portal should allow them to check and manage their stocks, view their value, sell them, and buy new ones. Additionally, the client should have the capability to create stock campaigns, publish them, and edit them on the platform. A stock simulator, showing the stock's performance and value, was also provided within the platform.

The platform should be responsive, although its primary use would be on desktop.

Approach

I made a previous research and flowcharts for the different functions to select the correct screens to design. I worked hand-to-hand with the developers in order to make functionalities that were feasible.

I choose a plain design, very visual for the whole application and the simulator.

I also relied on the use of classic icons for the data visualization screens. I consistently adhered to the client's style guide and corporate colors, including new elements that followed that style.

Outcome

The final result was a responsive mobile and desktop app that allowed users to view the status of their shares and simulate what they could earn by purchasing. Administrators could also create and edit stock sales campaigns within the same portal. The app is used internally by the company and has had a very positive impact by facilitating better brand communication with employees for both buyers and creators of stock sales campaigns.
